Penedes has several fine examples where you can try the local wines while enjoying speciality food from the area, and a visit by helicopter can make the journey shorter. In the autumn, there is even the honeymoon option of treading the grapes with your feet in the traditional manner. And if you fancy going further afield, the Priorat región has some excellent wine and spectacular scenery.

Costa Brava

To have a break and a change of pace, why not travel north to see the Costa Brava. The excellent Alabriga Hotel and Home Suites in S’Agaro will be your base to explore and relax. Travel from the the Catalan Pyrenees to the sea, or for the stronger cyclists, from Montblanc to the Ebro. And relax in the excellent hotels which Catalunya has to offer.
